Amethyst Love

Amethyst is the 1st Gemstone I fell in love with as a kid.  Anyone that knows me also knows I love purple. All the jewelry I design I make in many shades of Amethyst.  It is February’s traditional birthstone and is linked to the Third Eye Chakra.  Amethyst can range in color from lilac to purple, reddish-purple and bluish-purple. Its color comes from small amounts of iron and aluminum in its crystal structure. If exposed to heat, amethyst can turn brown, yellow, or green. Here are a few of  Amethyst’s magical properties:
